Новейший пневматический пистолет олимпийского класса «Walther LP500»
Профессиональное спортивное пневматическое оружие давно уже стало недоступным не только для кошелька, но и для понимания рядового эйрганнера. К тому же далеко не все еще и знают, что классической олимпийской дистанцией по пулевой стрельбе из пневматики являются не 100 и даже не 50, а 10 (!) метров. Давайте познакомимся с одним из современных образцов и попробуем разобраться, что же он из себя представляет и чем отличается от привычных нам изделий.
LP500 можно отнести к модульному оружию. Например, базовый новейший компактный электронный спуск можно заменить на механический аналог, естественно, прецизионный, регулируемый. Многие спортсмены на соревнованиях предпочитают именно этот вариант. Кроме того, можно выбрать еще массу модификаций собственно стволов, кожухов, мушек, компенсаторов и т.д. Как и варианты расцветок. Эргономические рукоятки, за которые с непривычки больно-то-то и не ухватишься, доступны в 18 версиях! И каждая имеет еще собственные регулировки.
Но ладно, все это больше предмет личных предпочтений стрелка, хотя и серьезно влияющий на собственно выстрел. А вот теперь внимание, использованные в LP500 новейшие фирменные технологии (перечислять их названия не будем) способны:
— снизить импульс отдачи, воздействующий на оружие;
— устранить завихрения воздуха позади пули;
— нейтрализовать импульс воздушного потока, обеспечивающего движение пули по стволу.
В остальном это классический современный спортивный PCP-пистолет «олимпийского класса»: калибр 4,5 мм, дульная энергия 7,5 джоуля, давление в резервуаре 200 бар, максимальное количество выстрелов с одной заправки до 150.
Стоит сие произведение оружейного искусства в зависимости от исполнения от 1800 до 2500 евро. Существует, правда, еще и модель «LP500 ECONOMY» (на фото).
Насколько можно понять, отличия в основном заключаются в базовом механическом спусковом механизме, несколько ином стволе, алюминиевом, а не композитном резервуаре, отсутствии вариантов расцветок и «не элитном» кейсе. Подробности — на сайте компании Carl Walther GmbH.
Кстати, предшественник рассматриваемой нами модели — LP53 засветился даже в одном из лучших фильмов «бондианы».

To my knowledge … No
I own an LP500 and you can pull off the “LP500” and “Walther” from each side of the barrel. Use GooGone to remove the adhesive. It is a great pistol, noticeably better than Morini, Pardini, or Steyr Evo 10e.

I have a LP400 and the only thing I don’t like is that the threads of the cylinder are subjected to the full pressure inside the cylinder when it is unscrewed. I have applied a lot of lubricant ( Krytox GPL105 ) to the threads but still the wearing is very prominent. A black layer of metal powder covering the threads is seen everytime the cylinder is unscrewed. Do you guys have the same experience ? Are there any ways to reduce the amount of wearing ?

Description
The Walther LP500 Competition is the successor to Walther’s LP400 models. The LP500 series is standard equipped with a Match barrel with compensator, absorber, dry firing mode, saddle breech, carbon cylinder made of aluminum-carbon composite, rotatable sight, INLINE weight (10g), 3D lettering and an infinitely adjustable rear sight width and depth and rotatable front sight.
Grip position is crucial for every tenth of a ring. This LP500 features a regular 3D grip.
Furthermore, this LP500 Competition has a SILVER barrel with aluminum barrel jacket, Vario trigger with maximum setting possibilities and X-Change trigger unit with mechanical trigger (interchangeable with electronic trigger).

I’ve had the pistol for a couple weeks, shooting every day, and love it! As a coach I like to have experience with top pistols and provide advancing students with hands-on before they make major purchase decisions. The lighter cylinder takes a bit of adjustment. Will be exploring weights and placement and like the ability to decide my own balance without making the pistol heavier than others. The grip is very comfortable, providing excellent control. The dry fire capability is sweet – very easy to use. Loading is easy even for these very “mature” fingers. Getting about 200 good shots from one fill to 200 bars. As for longevity of the new cylinder and overall manufacturer support only time will tell. But I cannot say enough good things about the superb service from Chris. Krale is a great shop!
